President's Choice Financial

Hi GreenJoe,

We appear to be disagreeing as to whether or not PCF is a Financial Institution.

Fortunately for us there is a formal definition within Canada - that is all FI's are regualted and have a charter with OSFI.

If you go to the OSFI website, and the link "Who We Regulate" you will find a list of all financial institutions allowed to operate in Canada: http://www.osfi-bsif.gc.ca/osfi/index_e.aspx?DetailID=568

You will notice that Presidents Choice Financial is not listed there. Therefore it is not true to say that "Presidents Choice Financial" is a Financial Institution. Therefore Wikipedia should not claim that "Presidents Choice Financial" is a Financial Institution.
